I am pathetic at upholstering! I tried covering a small chair once and it was decidedly wonky! Your chair looks awesome! I am really jealous. Can you please zip over to come and do my patio set? I will take a pic of my patio set, which is a cane set with loose cushions. It is quite a big job to take on as you need to restore the cane as well, but I am petrified of making a mess of it. I'll post a pic on my blog later this week. Maybe you can give me some good advice?

I can't wait to see the finished chair! Your sofa looked stunning. I have tried re-upholstering, but suck at it. Maybe I am too impatient, not sure. I have a cane patio set that desperately needs new cushions, but I have been reluctant to try my hand at this...

Halloween is not really a holiday that is celebrated in South Africa. When my kids were small, a local Mall started having an annual event on Halloween with all the stores open and giving away treats to the kids. It was such fun taking the kids. Now they are bigger they dont "do" that anymore. Not with their parents it seems. Last weekend both boys went to the same event and met some friends there. No dressing-up though. Must look cool, not like a clown!

Hope you feel better soon!
