This Monday, Ellen from The Long Thread re-posted her tutorial for reversible cloth headbands. When she first posted, I wanted to make some, but promptly forgot amid all the other projects I had going at the time. This was a good reminder, so I decided to put one together. Unfortunately, I forgot to print out the instructions, and when I got home I was too lazy to go all the way back to the place that I have access to the internet and a printer. I decided to go ahead and make this anyways…I did manage to read the instructions before I left so I had an idea of what I had to do.
Instead of using elastic I used a grosgrain ribbon to tie the headband, and the shape of mine is a little different. For one side of the headband I embroidered three little flowers similar to the print of the other fabric I was using.
I have to say, I have already used this headband twice (and it has only been completed for 2 days). I could seriously make one to go with each of my outfits and I would be a happy girl. These headbands are a must have for days when you don’t quite feel like going through the huge process of washing, drying, and straightening the hair…which happens to be most days for me!

I’m gonna have to make me some now! This is really cute!:)
Super cool! It beats the usual scrunchie or clip that I use! Hair just gets in the way if left lose. I might give this a go sometime, but too many other projects at the moment! Have a great weekend!
