After a week of weather in the 70’s I am excited to say that we are finally having some fall weather here in Colorado! And really, it has come just in time! I have finished a new set of slippers for the season! These were in the November 2008 edition of Martha Stewart Living that arrived a couple weeks ago.
As is characteristic of me, I dove right into the project, unfortunately without fully reading the complicated instructions. Needless to say, I made my life a little more difficult than I had to, but after some cries of frustration (and some comforting from Mike) I walked away from my sewing machine with some warm comfort for my feet! *The sizes for this run a little bit small, especially if you will be wearing them with socks. Consider making them in the next half size up.*
I am really loving these! Next time, maybe I’ll add some fleece to the inside to make them even more cozy!
